Responsibilities: Visual and Dimensional Inspection. Utilize of Measuring Instruments. Record inspection results, maintain accurate records, and create detailed reports. Tools Calibration. Ensure all products comply with customer requirements and industry regulations. Identify and troubleshoot any issues with the machined parts or assemblies. Work closely with production staff to address any quality concerns and ensure proper documentation is in place.
Having good experience and exposure in Mechanical Maintenance specifically in Machine Shop division.
Follow up and expedite the sample castings from Pouring to Dispatch. Expedite the castings within the shortest lead time. Follow up the various stage of casting process and record the results. Coordinate with NDT team for various testing and record the results. Co Ordinate with Dimension Inspection team and complete the testing. Offering the sample castings to Internal QC and customer for inspection. Obtain Approval and release for shipment. Compile all the PPAP Documents and hand over to Head technical for further course of action. Follow Up the corrective action and release the parts for bulk Production.
Simulation and Analysis: Utilize MAGMASOFT for casting process simulation to optimize design and production processes. Tooling Design: Develop CAD models for rigging and gating designs using software like SolidWorks. Process Improvement: Analyze and improve foundry manufacturing methods to enhance quality and efficiency. Project Management: Manage engineering projects, including sampling new work and collecting documentation.
Required to manage all operation of Technical, Engineering pertaining to Foundry. Supervision of Group of Technical personnel in the areas of Melting, Moulding, Core making, Sand plant, Fettling, Heat Treatment etc. Responsible for monthly, weekly and daily planning of production in order to achieve OTD. Monitor process controls and assist standardization of the same. Monitor post casting parameters like casting yield, rejections etc and suggest improvements. Responsible for deciding and entrusting quantities and schedules to job contractors for manufacturing orders at various stages of production. Co-ordination with method department for finalizing specifications prototype development of castings for the betterment of quality. Effective cost control activities.
CNC, HMC, VMC Machine operator
Develop innovative product ideas and create detailed design specifications. Lead cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful product launches. Develop and test prototypes to refine product designs. Work closely with engineering, marketing, and manufacturing teams to bring products from concept to launch. Ensure products meet quality and regulatory standards. Analyze product performance and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
Able to handle and control the 35 CNC machines and 15 conventional machines in a shop floor. Able to handle team more than 100-150 operatives and supervisors. Exposure on Operating, Setting and program Knowledge on CNC VTL/Lathe, VMC, HMC, 5 axis and Grinding machines. Hands on exposure to handle heavy CNC machines (2-meter VTL, 1-meter HMC and 5-meter VMC). CAM programming knowledge has added advantage. Machining exposure/experience in valve component manufacturing. Ensure the machines utilisation as per plan (Utilisation). Ensure the output as planned (efficiency). Responsible for quality output.

Manage all technical aspects of problem solving, conducting trials. Effectively communicate client needs to the R&D teams for future product enhancements. Negotiating and achieving deadlines for the submission of quotations.
To produce basic engineering documents like PFD, P&ID, HFD and layout. To develop 3D modelling of WTP/ETP/STP plant. To generate Mechanical, Electrical, Civil GA and Fabrication drawings followed by basic and detail engineering. To produce Piping and Cable tray routing drawings with support details. To produce BOM for the projects. To prepare O&M manuals.
